DF and GS warn: Čović's plan B is armed rebellion

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front and the Civic Alliance reacted sharply to the news that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of HNK is procuring long guns, calling it, as they stated in the parties' press release, violence by Dragan Čović and HDZ BiH.

"Yesterday's news that the police of Canton 10, which is under Čović's rule and direct political control, has issued a tender for a new mass procurement of weapons should finally open everyone's eyes to the essence of plan B: armed rebellion and violent change of the constitutional order," the reaction states.

DF and GS believe that Čović's decision to openly move towards, as they stated, "turning the legal police into a paramilitary party phalanx is proof of his intention to go to a violent end in his plans to divide Bosnia and Herzegovina, subjugate the civic majority, and rule as, for example, Belgium ruled in the Congo."

"We remind the public that this is not the first time Čović has demonstrated force: not so long ago, the police of HNK, which is also under Čović's political control, attempted to forcibly establish a border at Ivan-sedlo. Čović and HDZ will not stop until they are defeated. The last opportunity for this will be the upcoming General Elections in October this year. Everything after that will be too late."

DF and GS called on SDA to convene a session without further delay through the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament and put the Law on Electoral Units on the agenda. This is not only a matter of minimum state interest, stated DF and GS, but, they emphasized, also a matter of respect for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who do not want and cannot be hostages of a clientelist organization with dangerous intentions, which HDZ BiH is today.

"The mass procurement of weapons by the HDZ police also leaves no doubt about the full coordination between Čović and Milorad Dodik, who, before the eyes of the authorities, has turned the entity police into parallel armed forces. Therefore, there is no doubt about their ultimate goal if both of them become members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in October this year: the dissolution of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina by violent means, if it is not possible by peaceful means.

Unlike some other opposition parties, the "DF-GS-Željko Komšić" coalition has no dilemmas regarding plan B. The choice before all of us is very simple: either you are for plan B or you are against plan B. All those who claim that plan B does not exist are themselves part of plan B," the press release from the Democratic Front and the Civic Alliance states.
