DF: HDZ Minister of Health in HNK Government Must Resign Immediately

(Patria) - The Democratic Front calls on the Minister of Health in the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Goran Opsenica, to immediately submit an irrevocable resignation from the position of Minister of Health in HNK.

Not even two days after the chaos that ensued due to irresponsibility at the University Clinical Center, which caused the spread of the coronavirus, HDZ Minister Goran Opsenica has not found it appropriate to address the public, let alone demand accountability from those responsible.

We call on the HNK Government and the HNK Prime Minister to immediately dismiss the responsible minister and thus show that irresponsibility will not be tolerated in these critical moments; otherwise, the public and citizens can rightly consider the HNK Government an accomplice in sabotaging prevention measures, and an accomplice in covering up an act that could turn into a huge tragedy.

The public can forgive HDZ ministers for their capriciousness and boycotting extended sessions of the Presidency of BiH, but it must never forgive the negligence that threatens to jeopardize the health of all citizens in the country.
