DF: The Director of KCUS will be elected by the Management Board

Regarding the information published in the daily newspaper “Avaz”, which states that there is an agreement from DF for the appointment of Mr. Rusmir Mesihović as the new director of the Clinical Center Sarajevo, we use this opportunity to inform the public that this is the most ordinary lie, it was announced from DF, reports the news agency Patria.

- We assume what the motives are, as well as who and for what purpose is participating in the creation of this lie. However, that is not our problem and we do not want to participate in such games and intrigues. Also, it is clear that we cannot speak on behalf of SDA, but as much as we know the current political situation, we are sure that, especially SDA, did not give such consent - say from DF.

Due to our obligations to the public, we would also like to point out that DF does not have, nor has it appointed, any member of the management board whose jurisdiction includes the election and appointment of the director of the Clinical Center in Sarajevo.

- Just as it is clear that DF does not have a single elected official in the executive government, at any level, whose jurisdiction includes giving consent for this appointment. We have repeated countless times, and we will continue to repeat, that the principles by which DF functions may be unknown, new, and even completely foreign in the political life of BiH, but we adhere to them and will continue to do so in the future. They consist of the fact that management positions in public enterprises and public institutions are not political functions, nor are we interested in whether the head of any enterprise or public institution is a member of a party or a completely apolitical person. Just as it is not important what his opinion is about DF or about anyone from DF. It is important that he is elected in accordance with the law, that he possesses the necessary qualifications for the job, and that he does the job as a good businessman and completely legally - they note. Who will be elected as the director of the Clinical Center Sarajevo will be decided by the management board of that center, in which, we repeat, DF does not have a single member. Our only expectations are that it will be a person with the necessary qualifications and that the legal procedure has been followed - added DF.
