DF: Čović's policy of pathological lies in deep despair

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Democratic Front believes that the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, is damaging the reputation of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina by spreading lies about the content of the meetings he had in Brussels as a member of the BiH delegation.

"It is a complete lie that any European Union official told Čović or any member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian delegation that Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive candidate status for membership in the European Union if the Election Law is amended in the next two months, and it is especially a lie that Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive candidate status if the amendments are made according to the segregational, discriminatory and racist model proposed by the HDZ. The fact is, however, that Čović's political actions are taking the form of pathological lying, which the afflicted believe further strengthens his political position. Čović and the HDZ have also used methods of pathological lying and imposing their views on European officials in the past few years, and this only brought Čović defeat in the elections for the Presidency of BiH. Čović's latest lies are an expression of the state of despair in which this anti-civilizational policy finds itself.

The only thing that might be true regarding Čović's trip to Brussels are media reports that he, using his tried and tested propaganda, spoke again in Brussels about the alleged danger of creating the so-called Islamic State, which is again part of the political pathology of Čović and the HDZ," stated the DF.
