Dević and Čelik want to continue 'job-filling' in the public sector

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With 32 votes of deputies, the initiative of deputy Aljoša Čampare to procure cameras for police officers to wear on their uniforms was supported.

Mahir Dević, head of the SDA Club, requested that the legislative-legal commission comment on the proposal of four clubs, and the Speaker of the KS Assembly, Mirza Čelik, joined that request.

Deputy Elmedin Konaković said that it is not unexpected that "you are trying to obstruct the attempt at mass employment in the public sector."

"You are obliged to put this conclusion to a vote, this trivial attempt by colleague Dević to interpret the rules of procedure really doesn't suit you, at least the speaker shouldn't be your role model. You are complicit in mass employment, jobs are being offered for someone to vote for someone, and please put the conclusion to a vote," said Konaković.

Aljoša Čampara said that it seems to him that this is the first time the legislative-legal commission is asked to comment on conclusions.

"If some conclusion is not in line with the constitution or the law, of course, it will not be implemented, that is quite clear. As far as I'm concerned, an opinion can be sought, but I don't see anyone in KS who can support employment in the public sector during the corona pandemic and all the problems citizens are facing. I think the request to stop all employment is completely justified, especially what was done in the previous period. This is systemic corruption and I will vote for such a conclusion, no matter what anyone thinks, because it is in the interest of the citizens," said Čampara.

Vibor Handžić reminded Čelik that on February 25, he signed the conclusions proposed by SDA deputy Jasmin Bišćević Tokić and did not request an opinion from the Legislative-Legal Commission.
