Nine Years Since the Formation of the Armed Forces of BiH

On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of BiH, a series of activities are planned from November 28 to December 1, 2014, to mark December 1, the Day of the AF BiH, and the 9th anniversary of the formation of the unified Armed Forces of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Activity Plan:

November 28, 2014 - Ceremonial press conference, starting at 1:00 PM in the House of the AF BiH, where the Minister of Defense of BiH Zekerijah Osmić and the Chief of the Joint Staff of the AF BiH General Anto Jeleč will address the media.

December 1, 2014 - Central military ceremony, lining up of units, reception of guests, addresses, awarding of recognitions, starting at 11:00 AM in the AF BiH barracks in Rajlovac.

December 1, 2014 - At 6:00 PM in the House of the AF BiH, a ceremonial Academy, reception and gathering of the highest representatives of BiH authorities, representatives of cultural and public life, international representatives, retired generals. In addition to addresses by the hosts and guests, a rich cultural and artistic program is planned, as well as the awarding of prizes to elementary school students for the best visual and literary works dedicated to the Armed Forces of BiH.
