Derviš Čičko candidate of the Party for BiH for Mayor of Tuzla

(Patria) - The regular session of the City Council of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (SBiH) Tuzla was held today at the premises of the City Organization SBiH Tuzla.

In addition to the members of the City Council, the session was attended by the President of the Party for BiH Semir Efendić, the party's Secretary General and delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament Džemal Smajić, Admir Čavalić, federal deputy and president of the SBiH club in the Federal Parliament, and Derviš Čičko, candidate for the Mayor of Tuzla.

At today's session, the candidacy of Derviš Čičko for Mayor of Tuzla was unanimously accepted.

Derviš Čičko was born and raised in Tuzla, where he lives and works with his family. He graduated from the Faculty of Mining in Tuzla with an average grade of 8.8. He owns a successful company in the mining sector. Throughout the Defense-Liberation War of 1992-1995, he stayed in Tuzla, working as a technologist-engineer in an engineering unit for special production in Tuzla.

He is a former athlete, a table tennis player, and a multiple BiH champion in various age categories. Since 2013, he has been an active columnist for one of Tuzla's portals and is well-known as an expert on political and social events in the Tuzla Canton. In the last five years, he has been involved in politics, gaining significant experience.

He regularly appears in domestic media as a commentator on social events. He is married and has a daughter. He speaks English and German fluently.

This is a candidate with an unblemished biography, very well-known and recognized by the general public, and one of the few who fully understands the political situation in Tuzla.

Consequently, as an SBiH candidate, Čičko can offer numerous solutions to the accumulated problems of the citizens of Tuzla. Regarding the electoral list for the Tuzla City Council from the City Organization SBiH Tuzla, all names should be known by the end of the week.
