Derventa; M.Š. falsified travel orders and pocketed 3,400 KM

The Public Security Center of Doboj, on January 28, submitted a report on a committed criminal offense to the District Prosecutor's Office of Doboj against M.Š. from Derventa, on grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of abuse of official position or authority, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, reports the Patria News Agency.

M.Š., as the responsible person at the Public Health Institution "Health Center" Derventa, during 2013, abused his position and authority by, contrary to the Decree on compensation for official travel in the country and abroad for employees in the public sector of Republika Srpska, collecting 3,434 KM as an advance for official travel abroad.

It was determined that the collected travel orders were not properly documented (without a decision or resolution from the employer for the relevant trips), and that the reported person did not even perform the actions shown in the official orders. Checks at border crossings revealed that M.Š. did not travel on the stated official trips. In this way, the reported M.Š. obtained an illegal property benefit in the amount of 3,434 KM, which is also the amount of material damage caused to the Public Health Institution "Health Center" Derventa, the statement reads.
