(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović sent congratulations to Friedrich Merz on his election as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

"On behalf of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in my own name, I extend my sincerest congratulations on your election as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Your election represents recognition of your dedicated work, vision, and the trust you have gained among the citizens.

I am sure that you will perform this honorable duty with the same energy and responsibility that you have shown so far.

I am convinced that the new government will be dedicated to further strengthening the strong economic, political, defense, and other ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Germany.

With best wishes to you, as well as to the citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, please accept the expressions of my personal respect."
