Democratic Front of Central Bosnia Canton suspends all negotiations with SDA and HDZ BiH

The Cantonal Committee of the Democratic Front of Central Bosnia Canton is suspending all further negotiations with the Party of Democratic Action and the Croatian Democratic Union on the formation of legislative and executive power at the level of that canton, it was announced from this party, reports the Patria News Agency.

- The reason is the unilateral scheduling of the continuation of the constitutive session of the Assembly of Central Bosnia Canton, without coordination with all political subjects participating in its work, and the disrespect of procedures prescribed by the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly and the Constitution of Central Bosnia Canton. In this way, the agreement signed on December 3, 2014, at the initiative of SDA, on joint action in Central Bosnia Canton, which defines the distribution of positions in the legislative and executive power at the cantonal level between coalition partners: SDA, HDZ, and DF, was also violated.

In accordance with this agreement, a delegate to the House of Peoples of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Bosniak people, i.e., SDA, was elected, and the position of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Central Bosnia Canton should have gone to DF, which was not respected by the coalition partners - the statement reads.
