Democratic Front: New Majority or Early Elections

Regarding yesterday's statements by the leaders of SDA and HDZ, in which they completely groundlessly demand the resignation of the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Dunović, the Democratic Front wishes to remind the said gentlemen that the new Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be formed without 50 representatives in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from the DF, Patria reports.

- Legal violence is the smallest common denominator of the SDA-HDZ coalition and it does not surprise us at all that they are trying to rule the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a minority. However, what is surprising is the attempt to present this minority rule as a majority, even though they do not have an absolute majority in both houses of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Government of Fadil Novalić has no other goal except to place suitable cadres in state-owned companies, and no majority in the legislative branch essentially interests them, therefore the call for Vice President Dunović to step down is politically infantile.

Given that two full months have passed since the DF left the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that in those two months SDA and HDZ have failed to find an absolute majority in both houses of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we call on them to declare the political bankruptcy of their government.

We call on the leadership of SDA to put the interests of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens above the petty proprietary interests of themselves and their distant and close relatives whom they employ in state institutions, and to allow the formation of a new ruling majority in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or the holding of early elections - the statement reads.
