Democratic Front: We will not back down anymore

A pre-election rally of the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić was held in Doboj Jug and Gradačac, where candidates for all levels of government in the 2014 General Elections were presented.  

Damir Bećirović, a candidate for the state Parliament, greeted those present and emphasized that the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić will advocate for the equality and equal rights of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- We will work towards Bosnia and Herzegovina one day having a single president who will represent the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens, and not, as is currently the case, a representative of a nation,” stated Bećirović, adding that “it is necessary for people working in prosecutor's offices and the judiciary to finally start doing their jobs, and not to keep cases in drawers for ten years in order to cover up crime and corruption - it was announced.

Emir Suljagić, a candidate for the Presidency of BiH, also addressed the attendees.

- I have no doubts about which flag is mine. My flag is the flag of Husein-kapetan Gradaščević, the one with lilies under which our fathers died, and the one that flies today on the Presidency of BiH building. My flag is the flag of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Suljagić said.

Željko Komšić, president of the Democratic Front and candidate for the state Parliament, said that the candidates are ordinary people who share the hardships of this nation.  

- Our ultimate goal is to improve the situation in which this country finds itself, not for the last four years, but for the last twenty years. It will be difficult and painful because changes do not come overnight, but it is necessary to decisively move towards change and lead the country on the right path - Komšić stated.
