Democratic Front: “Homeland” will not enter a coalition with SNSD in the RS entity

Democratic Front-Željko Komšić issued a statement denying the incorrect claims of SDA official from the RS entity, Ramiz Salkić, who unauthorisedly spoke with Milorad Dodik about the alleged entry of "Homeland" into a coalition with SNSD and its satellites, Patria reports.

- We in the DF have tied our position within the "Homeland" coalition to the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH with parties from the Alliance for Changes, and any negotiations with a majority based on bought deputies from the "Papak" affair do not have our support.

Furthermore, Mr. Salkić is evidently unaware that with his thoughtless and petty-possessive moves he is jeopardising BiH's progress towards the Euro-Atlantic family of nations.

Finally, the position of SDA representatives within the "Homeland" coalition has been from the very beginning that the main goal of post-election coalitions is to seize an opportunity that has not existed in the last eight years, since at the BiH level SNSD has been able to block all decisions. If some people in the SDA are so hungry for power in the RS entity, then we also tell them this way that they can look for new partners to form the Council of Ministers, the FBiH Government and governments in the cantons, the DF said.
