Demobilized soldiers Ćazim and Namir attempted to set themselves on fire in front of the FBiH Government

Two protesters from Kakanj, Ćazim Bajrić and Namir Pipo, who have been demonstrating in front of the FBiH Government building in Sarajevo for several days, attempted to set themselves on fire, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Firefighters, police, and an ambulance arrived at the scene, and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs prevented these two demobilized soldiers, who have been sitting in front of the FBiH Government building for 26 days, from carrying out this tragic act.

- We are in front of the Government because we are looking for any job. It cannot go on like this anymore - say these former soldiers of the Army of RBiH.

After they attempted to set themselves on fire, they were received by Salko Bukvarević, the Minister for Veterans' Affairs, who promised assistance. They will reportedly be a priority for employment at RMU Kakanj, but their employment will allegedly not be possible before September.
