(Patria) - Parliamentary life in Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected to resume after the winter break next week, but numerous other crises and scandals continue to shake our country.
At the same time, it seems that representatives of the US administration no longer want to waste time negotiating the Southern Interconnection, and are increasing the pace of their actions.
Professor Amel Delić from the Faculty of Administration at the University of Sarajevo spoke about these and other topics for Hayat tonight.
- If we recall the slogans of the currently ruling parties in the last elections, we will remember that they announced full transparency in their work and fundamental changes, but unfortunately, their mandate has been marked by instability within their coalition.
In addition, individual interests have been dominant, not even the interests of the parties, but rather specific officials within those parties, who absolutely had to be ministers, directors, and so on.
In the end, it all came down to plundering the spoils and some personal favors and counter-favors, which create grounds for suspicion that various criminal offenses have been committed there - says Delić.
Unfortunately, he adds, it seems that the Prosecutor's Office, and POSKOK as its special department, is doing everything to cover up and create some dramatic effect to show that something is being done.
- The fact is that they had important information in their possession for several months, but only after some of it was revealed on Hayat Television did POSKOK have to react.
Therefore, the question of the sincerity of their intentions arises, because some of the central figures in the published documents, such as Prime Minister Nikšić, are not subjects of investigation, as far as is known so far.
And all of this casts doubt on the correctness, efficiency, and sincere intention in the work of both POSKOK and other competent state bodies and agencies - emphasizes Delić.
He also answered the question regarding the visibly large imbalance of employees in state institutions, especially the number of Bosniak employees compared to Croats and Serbs, and the responsibility of the Trojka in all of this.
- They absolutely bear responsibility, which in some cases is even individual. This includes various negotiations and concessions to some employees.
It is also a fact that the control of civil servants ceased to be neutral a long time ago, and it is now politically controlled, from the lowest to the highest positions in the administration.
Furthermore, it was also evident that the Trojka parties did not know how to strategize with some appointments, so it happened that when they needed to arrest Dodik, there was no one to do it because all the key levers for that job were held by people from SNSD.
If they had strategized a couple of months earlier in some cases, this would not have happened to them. Therefore, they did not have strategic thinking, they did not have a vision because they focused on achieving some of their personal ambitions and benefits - added Delić.
