SDP Delegates in the House of Peoples of FBiH to Seek Vote of No Confidence in SDA-HDZ Government

At a session of the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, it was decided that SDP delegates at tomorrow's session of the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament will submit a proposal for a vote of no confidence in the Government of the Federation of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.

The proposal will be submitted because the composition of the FBiH Government in the past month does not reflect the majority will of the parliamentarians in the FBiH Parliament, and because the members of the Government are not active participants in parliamentary debates and constructive discussions that would enable more efficient work of the Parliament.

The proposal is also submitted due to the Government's inconsiderate attitude towards workers, miners, pensioners, and other social categories, due to the creation and implementation of the so-called Reform Agenda far from the public eye and the deputies in the FBiH Parliament, as well as due to the extremely ignorant attitude towards the FBiH Parliament when making key decisions for FBiH, such as the privatization of public companies.

In addition to this Proposal, an Initiative to convene an extraordinary session of this House will be submitted at tomorrow's session with only one item on the agenda, which is a discussion on the so-called Reform Agenda, which the ruling parties skillfully hide from the public eye, which proves that the content of the Agenda is unfavorable for FBiH and its citizens, it was announced from the SDP.

Condemnation of the Referendum

The Presidency of the SDP BiH condemns the announcements about the holding of a referendum on judicial institutions at the BiH level, which the deputies of the National Assembly of RS are to declare on today. Judicial institutions at the state level are of key importance for the sovereignty and stability of BiH, and their existence must not be called into question, as this directly violates the foundations of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of BiH.

Attack on Vučić Caused Most Harm to Returnees

The recent attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić in Srebrenica was also condemned, which caused the most harm to returnees in the smaller BiH entity and cast a shadow over the commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. In order to calm the situation among the returnee population as soon as possible, members of the Presidency of the SDP BiH called on BiH institutions to react as quickly as possible in finding the masterminds and perpetrators of this unfortunate event.
