Delegates of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament on amendments to the treasury law and a set of energy laws

(Patria) - Delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are expected to consider, at today's session in Sarajevo, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Treasury in FBiH under an expedited procedure.

This bill, proposed by the Government of the Federation of BiH, was adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at its session on July 25. The reasons for adopting the amendments to the Law on the Treasury in FBiH are harmonization with the Law on Budgets in FBiH and the Law on Internal Audit in the Public Sector in FBiH.

It is also planned to consider the proposal for the rebalancing of this year's budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, however, there is a possibility that this item will be removed from the agenda, given that the FBiH Government withdrew it for revision at the session of the House of Representatives on July 25.

Delegates are also expected to vote on the Bill on the Protection of Civilian Victims of War in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament on July 25. This is one of the most important laws which, as explained at the time, should restore pride and dignity to civilian victims of war after 28 years.

It is also planned to consider the FBiH Budget Framework Document for the period 2024 – 2026, and a set of energy laws adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at its session on July 6.

These are the Bill on Energy and Regulation of Energy Activities, the Bill on Electric Energy in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Bill on the Use of Renewable Energy Sources and Efficient Cogeneration.
