Delegations laid lilies at the Memorial Stone in Potočari

(Patria) - After the commemoration ended, numerous delegations laid white lilies at the Memorial Stone in the Potočari cemetery.

Delegations from BiH, the region, Europe, and the whole world came today to mark the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica and to attend the funeral and burial of seven identified victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. Delegations came from Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Pakistan, Qatar, the USA, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Sweden...

The coffins of the victims will be lowered into the Potočari cemetery after the Friday and funeral prayers.

None of the victims have complete remains, and the families have decided to give consent for them to be buried this year.

The Friday and afternoon prayers were combined by a fatwa, and those present aligned the prayer rows.
