Centar Municipality delegation paid tribute to victims in Paris

On the occasion of the terrorist attacks in Paris, flowers were laid today at Džidžikovac in Sarajevo's Centar Municipality, near the memorial to fallen French soldiers, and due tribute was paid to the innocent victims, reports the Patria News Agency.

The delegation of the Centar Municipality was led by Mayor Dževad Bećirević and the President of the Municipal Council Nedžad Ajandžić.

In addition to our fellow citizens and public figures, the tribute to the victims was attended by the French Ambassador to BiH Claire Bodonyi and representatives of diplomatic missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the day, Mayor Bećirević and President Ajandžić sent a telegram of condolences to the French Ambassador to BiH Claire Bodonyi, which stated:

-We were deeply shaken by the news of the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris. On behalf of the Municipality and the Municipal Council of Centar Sarajevo, we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the killed and wounded, the Government of the French Republic, and the entire French nation.

Criminal attacks and the killing of innocent people are not only a blow to Paris and France, but to all of humanity and democracy. We believe that all security institutions of our country at all levels of BiH's state organization will build an effective system for protecting citizens from all forms of terrorism and will make their full contribution to the common fight of the democratic world against terrorism on all continents, stated Bećirević and Ajnadžić in their letter, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
