Delegation from China visits BiH: A series of meetings with BiH officials

A delegation from the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) today met with members of the collegiums of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Bariša Čolak, stated that this visit will contribute to the further development of relations, although in a political sense it can be stated that these relations are exceptionally good, reports Patria News Agency.

- In the industrial and economic sense, our relations are also good. There are major investments from China here, and new opportunities are opening up. Cooperation in other areas is good, but it can certainly be deepened at the scientific and cultural level - Čolak said.

He emphasized that BiH supports China's policy and wishes to improve relations between friendly countries.

From the CPPCC Delegation, they said they were satisfied with the sincere conversation with the members of the collegiums, adding that there is a deep traditional friendship between BiH and China. As they say, the Chinese government supports the peaceful coexistence of peoples in BiH and respects the development path that the peoples in our country have chosen themselves.

They emphasized that the relations between BiH and China are developing well in a political sense, as is economic cooperation, and that the people in China are not only friendly but also true brothers who will help the development of BiH.

The CPPCC delegation is on a multi-day visit to BiH, during which meetings are planned with members of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić, the member of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić, and a visit to Mostar is also planned.

Otherwise, this is one of the most significant delegations from China to visit BiH.
