Islamic Community delegation at OSCE session in Warsaw

The delegation of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also participating in the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting 2016 in Warsaw. 

Muhamed Jugo, expert associate for relations with the Western world in the Islamic Community, addressed the session on behalf of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He presented the Islamic Community in BiH and its characteristics. 

- The tradition of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its systemic organization, recommend us to share our achievements and experiences with the member states of the European Union when organizing relations with Muslim communities. I take this opportunity to thank Ambassador Jonathan Moore, Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, for his support. Our goal is to achieve the status of a "public law corporation" in Germany, for example - said Jugo, writes BIR, reports NAP.

In addition to Jugo, the Islamic Community delegation in Warsaw includes Mirnes Lemeš, expert associate for diaspora and Bosniaks in emigration, Muhamed Fazlović, expert associate for relations with churches and religious communities, and publicist and journalist Muhamed Jusić.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is on its path to membership in the European Union, and the Islamic Community in BiH influences certain processes through its significant Bosniak diaspora in EU member states.
