(Patria) - The European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on X that there have been positive steps on BiH's path to the EU, but that key laws have not been finalized.
They welcomed the adoption of the economic reform program by the BiH Council of Ministers, as well as the adoption of amendments to the Law on Civil Service in the House of Representatives, and it was emphasized that the legislative procedure must be completed as soon as possible.
Also, the Public Procurement Review Body adopted the Strategy, and its adoption by the Council of Ministers is now required.
"But some of the most important laws on the EU path, especially the Law on Conflict of Interest and the Law on Courts, have not been finalized. It is most important that they are adopted and are in line with European standards before the European Council meets on March 21 and 22," the EU Delegation in BiH stated.
