Definitive confirmation: Nothing from American helicopters, ministers from RS against

(Patria) - The BiH Council of Ministers did not make a decision on allocating money for the purchase of American helicopters at today's session. Ministers from RS voted against.

We remind you that to proceed with the procurement of American helicopters, the BiH Ministry of Defence needs to allocate 3.6 million KM.

BiH Minister of Defence Zukan Helez claimed that a second decision on allocation was not necessary, but today's session showed that without that decision, there will be no American helicopters.

In December 2021, BiH received four American helicopters, and the continuation of that project was supposed to follow, with BiH providing part of the funds. However, not all coalition partners think the same.

SNSD President Milorad Dodik has repeatedly stated that there will be no significant decisions in the BiH Council of Ministers and BiH Parliament until the issue of the BiH Election Law is resolved.
