Debevec sent threatening messages to prosecutor Mijović, she filed a report with the HJPC!

(Patria) - Ranko Debevec, President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sent threatening messages to the acting prosecutor Vedrana Mijović, who is investigating a complaint filed against Debevec, Patria has confirmed from the HJPC.
The situation in the judiciary is increasingly difficult, and the heads of judicial institutions, burdened by complaints and personal conflicts, are finding it harder to cooperate. As a result, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council has received a higher number of complaints, one of which was filed by prosecutor Mijović.

The complaint states that based on the received reports, a case was opened and she was assigned to conduct the investigation.

„After I took over the case and began verifying the allegations from the complaint, Ranko Debevec sent me messages from his mobile phone to my mobile phone via the Signal application, the content of which I am attaching, with the intent to prevent me from verifying the allegations from the anonymous complaint in which he is the reported person,“ the complaint states.

It further states that from the messages sent by Debevec, a clear and unambiguous conclusion can be drawn that, using his influence as President of the Court, he learned that she, as the acting prosecutor, had sent requests to the HJPC and the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton for the delivery of official data they hold on Debevec.

„By reviewing the said case through the TCMS system, it is evident that Debevec contacted me via Signal, sending the first message on June 11, 2020, then called on June 25, and after I did not answer the call, he sent a message, all after I had sent requests to the HJPC and the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.

Also, to this day, he continuously, indirectly through colleagues, tells me „to stop investigating him,“ otherwise I will face consequences. Colleagues will testify about this if necessary,“ the complaint, signed by prosecutor Vedrana Mijović, states.
