Generous Ivo Komšić: Signed 46 service contracts, even rented jewelry and dresses!

The City Administration of the City of Sarajevo signed as many as 45 service contracts from January 1 last year to September 30, the Patria news agency learns.

After the City Council councilors „got wind“ that service contracts were being signed in large numbers, they requested a list of individuals with whom employment, service, and copyright contracts were concluded for the City of Sarajevo.

And the list arrived, but it is suspected that this number is significantly higher, and that the City of Sarajevo is hiding that number.

Suspicion about these contracts, which the City is obliged to pay, is also raised by contracts that are at least unnecessary, such as the service contract signed in the name of Amela Radan, which concerns the rental of jewelry and five dresses for the ceremonial opening of the restored City Hall.

Incidentally, the list of awarded contracts does not indicate the amounts paid, so the City Council councilors insist on this, as well as on the exact number of such contracts.

 It is also unknown how many advisors there are in the City Administration, so an initiative will be submitted for this case as well.

How generous the City of Sarajevo, led by Mayor Ivo Komšić, is when it comes to service contracts, despite the financial crisis, is proven by the contract received by Merima Arifhodžić, who was engaged for work in the working group EYOWF 2017, as an external associate (!?).

 Contracts for providing expert consulting services were also concluded in the name of Zoran Selesković, as well as contracts for the maintenance of toilets at Wilson's Promenade.

As Patria unofficially learns, certain service contracts are worth more than 5,000 KM, and the City generously paid for the relocation of office furniture from the building of the City of Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office to the DPO building.
