Days of Victory and Pride on Vlašić: Commemoration on Sunday with Presence of Numerous Officials

(Patria) - Organized by veteran associations and with the support of local and higher levels of government, the "Days of Victory, Days of Pride – Vlašić, Ljuta Greda 2025" event will be held for the third consecutive year on August 3rd at the "Slobode i mira" Memorial Park, near the "Ljiljan" monument at the Ljuta Greda location, starting at 11:00 AM.

The event aims to promote a culture of remembrance of the achievements of the defense-liberation war 1992–1995, by commemorating significant historical dates, paying tribute to the fighters of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and strengthening patriotism and unity among citizens.

As announced by the organizers, this year's program includes laying flowers at the "Ljiljan" monument, paying tribute to the fighters of the ARBiH, and speeches by guests.

The presence of the BiH Presidency member Dr. Denis Bećirović, the Vice President of the Federation of BiH Refik Lendo, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament Kemal Ademović, representatives of cantonal and municipal authorities, and numerous guests and citizens is expected.

We remind you that as part of this event, on September 16th, 2023, the largest flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was raised on Paljenik, the highest peak of Vlašić, while on August 4th, 2024, the largest lily-shaped monument in BiH, dedicated to General Mehmed Alagić and the fighters of the ARBiH, was ceremonially opened at Ljuta Greda.

The organizers invite all citizens, media, and patriots to grace this event with their presence and together send a message of unity, pride, and remembrance of the glorious struggle for the freedom and independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
