Days of Victory and Pride on Vlašić

(Patria) - Organized by veteran associations and supported by local and higher levels of government, the event "Days of Victory, Days of Pride – Vlašić, Ljuta Greda 2025" will be held for the third consecutive year today at the "Peace and Freedom Memorial Park", near the "Lily" monument at the Ljuta Greda site, starting at 11:00 AM.

The event aims to promote a culture of remembrance of the achievements of the defense-liberation war 1992–1995, by marking significant historical dates, paying tribute to the fighters of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and strengthening patriotism and unity among citizens.

As announced by the organizers, this year's program includes laying flowers at the "Lily" monument, paying tribute to the fighters of the ARBiH, and speeches by guests.

We remind you that as part of this event, on September 16, 2023, the largest flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was raised on Paljenik, the highest peak of Vlašić, while on August 4, 2024, the largest lily-shaped monument in BiH, dedicated to General Mehmed Alagić and the fighters of the ARBiH, was officially opened at Ljuta Greda.

The organizers invite all citizens, media, and patriots to grace this event with their presence and together send a message of unity, pride, and remembrance of the glorious struggle for the freedom and independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
