Today, a major miners' protest: Eight demands of mine workers

(Patria) - According to the Decision of the Independent Union of Mine Workers of the Federation of BiH from November 17 this year, a protest of miners from mines within the concern has been scheduled for today in front of the building of the Government of the Federation in Sarajevo.

The protest is organized to fulfill 8 demands of the mine workers.

Among the demands is the annulment of the employer's unilateral decision on the application of the new Rulebook on Work and the Rulebook on Work Performance.

One of the demands is also respect for the provisions of the Collective Agreement in the field of mining, as well as the adoption of a plan and program for linking the length of service for workers in the mines.

The dismissal of the general director of Elektroprivreda BiH is also demanded, as well as the dismissal of the directors of the Mines who put the Rulebooks into effect. The protests of mine workers from the concern are scheduled for today at 11:00 AM in front of the building of the Government of the Federation of BiH.
