Council of Ministers of BiH session today, with the Election Law on the agenda

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will convene in Sarajevo today, starting at 1:30 PM.

The proposed agenda includes, among other things, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Financing of BiH Institutions and the Proposal for a Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy of BiH for the period 2022-2025 - new text, proposed by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.

The Work Program of the Council of Ministers of BiH for 2024, and the work reports of the Council's institutions for 2023 will also be discussed.

The agenda also includes information on perspectives for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2024-2026, BiH convergence, and economic competitiveness in BiH.

State ministers will also discuss the work reports of the Coordination Committee for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons in BiH for 2023 and the work of the Working Group for Harmonization of Regulations on Weapons and Ammunition among themselves and with the EU acquis.

The proposed agenda includes the Opinion on the Bill on Amendments to the Election Law of BiH, and Information on the Annual Training and Exercise Plan for members and units of the Armed Forces of BiH abroad for 2024 - second round of voting.

Also to be considered are the Proposal for a Decision on Amending the Decision on Establishing the BiH NATO Cooperation Commission - second round of voting, and the "Confidential" Report on the Work of the Intelligence Security Agency of BiH for 2023.
