Today, protests in support of the beaten girl Enisa Klepo in Jablanica

(Patria) - Today at 6 PM in Jablanica, protests will be organized due to the case in which Enisa Klepo was beaten by the owner of the Hotel Jablanica. The protest will be held under the title "Support for Enisa Klepo and all women victims of violence. Violence against women has no place in our society".

The organizers of the protest are the Women's Association "NERA" Konjic, Women's Association "Most" Jablanica, Association "Dignitet" Mostar, Association "Civic Initiative" Mostar, Women's Association "Univerzum" Mostar, Association "I Would Like to Join the EU" Sarajevo.

Citizens will gather in front of the old barracks in Doljanka street in Jablanica. They will walk through Komuna Vejle, Zlatnih ljiljana, Nikole Bojanovića streets, and Omladinsko šetalište street.

"The violence committed against a woman, the violation of workers' rights, has shocked and united us as a society with the aim of stopping violence against women and protecting workers' rights, especially in Jablanica, where unfortunately it is not the first time that workers' rights have been violated," stated the Dignitet Association.

We remind you that the hotel worker was beaten after she asked for her last salary because she wanted to resign. After a verbal conflict with the owner Amir Džafić, he beat her, and she sustained serious head injuries.

The perpetrator spent the night in custody and was released. The HNK Prosecutor's Office is investigating this case.
