Today the trial of Naser Orić begins

Before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, trials for crimes in the areas of Stolac, Bratunac and Srebrenica begin this week.

Today, the start of the trial of Naser Orić and Sabahudin Muhić for murders of prisoners in Bratunac and Srebrenica committed in 1992 is scheduled, BIRN reported, as carried by Patria.

On the same day, the trial of Mile Pažin, Ivica Marković and Vido Krešić will begin. They are charged with the arrest of civilians in Stolac in the summer of 1993, who were physically and psychologically abused during captivity.

On Thursday, 28 January, the defense of Nihad Bojadžić, who is on trial for crimes committed in Jablanica, will present its closing argument.

The first defense witnesses of Jovan Popović, charged with crimes in Višegrad, will be heard on Wednesday, 27 January.

For Friday, 29 January, the start of the evidentiary proceedings of the defense of Nedžad Hodžić, who along with six other persons is charged with crimes in Kladanj, is scheduled.
