Today opening of memorial 'General Mehmed Alagić - Ljiljan Ljuta greda'

(Patria) - On Vlašić, as part of the event “Days of Victory, Days of Pride – Ljuta greda 2024”, the opening of the monument “General Mehmed Alagić – Ljiljan Ljuta greda” will take place today at 11:00 AM.

This event, which aims to preserve the memory of the heroic struggle and victories, attracts a large number of visitors every year and represents an important event for the local community.

The organizers have announced a rich cultural and educational program, and the opening of the monument will be the central event of the manifestation.

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić will attend the event “Days of Victory, Days of Pride” and the opening of the memorial “General Mehmed Alagić Ljiljan-Ljuta greda”, and will lay flowers at the memorial.

The event will be held at the Memorial Complex “Park of Freedom and Peace”, Ljuta greda, Vlašić.
