(Patria) - The trial against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and acting director of "Službeni glasnik" Miloš Lukić will continue today at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
It was previously announced that the defense should begin presenting evidence at the upcoming hearing, and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH concluded the presentation of its evidence on May 22.
The proposals of the Republika Srpska President's defense to hear the President of the National Council of RS Srebrenka Golić and the Secretary General of the President of Republika Srpska Jelena Pajić Baštinac, as well as certain material evidence, have been accepted.
Lukić's defense proposal to hear the Secretary General of the Government of Srpska Dalibor Panić and the Secretary General of the National Assembly of RS Boran Bosančić has also been accepted.
At the previous hearing, judge Sena Uzunović rejected the defense's proposal to hear the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, and Michael Gethinger.
According to Dodik, the decision not to summon Schmidt as a witness was not made by the presiding judge, but by the embassies of the USA, Great Britain, and Germany, which, he said, are protecting Schmidt in an attempt to impose the system they want.
The hearing scheduled for June 19 was not held due to the illness of a defense witness who was supposed to be heard at that time.
