Strong Winds and Thunderstorms Possible Today

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a yellow warning due to possible strong winds and thunderstorms that could hit Bosnia and Herzegovina this afternoon.

On Sunday, mostly cloudy weather with rain, showers, and thunderstorms is expected in most areas. Precipitation, mainly in the afternoon, of moderate to increased intensity. Wind, light, southwest in Herzegovina and western Bosnia, and east and northeast in other areas.

Morning temperatures from 7 to 12, in the south from 11 to 15, and daily temperatures from 15 to 21, in the south from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon hours in the areas of Prijedor, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Livno, Bihać, Mostar, Višegrad, Foča, Sarajevo, and Trebinje.

"The weather is potentially dangerous. The forecasted weather conditions are not unusual, but be cautious if you intend to practice activities that are exposed to meteorological risks. Stay informed about the expected meteorological conditions and avoid possible risks," the yellow meteoalarm explanation states, reports NAP.
