(Patria) - The joint working group of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after a few months' 'break', will today conduct interviews with candidates for members of the Management Board of RTV Federation of BiH.
On this occasion, federal MP Sanel Kajan addressed the public, reminding the joint working group and the public of the position of the House of Representatives' Commission for Information, which he chairs.
"If you accept the candidacy of someone who expresses anti-state views, supports para-state criminal formations, and glorifies war criminals, you will betray everything that professional media work and engagement in strengthening public media, such as the RTV service of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should be!
The House of Representatives' Commission for Information, of which I am the president, strongly opposes the appointment of individuals with anti-state views, those who are deeply compromised through their actions, characterized by unprofessionalism and political agitation for para-state projects, as members/president of the RTV FBiH Management Board," Kajan stated.
Among the registered candidates is Zoran Krešić, and after the dust was raised last time, the Commission has now scheduled interviews.
Otherwise, the Joint Working Group has taken the position to elect all members of the RTV FBiH Management Board, although the law stipulates that one member should be elected each year.
This same group will today open the received applications for the Independent Board. The Independent Board conducts the procedure for electing the director of the Federal Police Administration.
