Explosives transport ban in FBiH and on routes to Srebrenica today and tomorrow

(Patria) - On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the genocide against the citizens of the "UN Safe Area" and the burial of identified victims, a ban on the transport of explosives is in effect today and tomorrow in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the following routes: Drinjača-Konjević Polje-Milići, Konjević Polje-Bratunac-Srebrenica, Drinjača-Bratunac, Vlasenica-Luke, and Srebrenica-Zeleni Jadar.

Today, a stage of the cycling memorial marathon "Bihać-Srebrenica 2024" and the Supermarathon "Lest it never happen again and be forgotten" is taking place. The planned route for today is via Olovo, Kladanj, Vlasenica, Milići, Bratunac to Potočari. Motorcyclists will join them a little later.

Tomorrow, 11.07.2024, a traffic ban for trucks over 3.5 tons will be in effect on all routes leading to Srebrenica from the direction of Sarajevo, Tuzla, and Zvornik.

Due to slope repair work and unstable slopes, traffic is suspended on the Jajce-Crna Rijeka main road. Vehicles are being rerouted via Jezero and Mrkonjić Grad towards Crna Rijeka.

Repair work is also ongoing on the main roads: Lašva-Kaonik, Kladanj-Vlasenica, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Bijeljina-Rača, Čevljanovići-Nišići, and Semizovac-Srednje. Traffic is slowed down at other work sites.

Passenger vehicle traffic is increased at the Velika Kladuša and Doljani border crossings on the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are no long delays at other border crossings.
