Today: Humanitarian 'Bazaar of Good Will' organized by the Association Pomozi.ba

The Association Pomozi.ba is organizing a humanitarian "Bazaar of Good Will" today in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. The humanitarian “Bazaar of Good Will” will be held at Dr. Fetaha Bećirbegovića Street no. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"The specificity of this bazaar is that, in addition to buying new and used items at symbolic prices, enjoying coffee, tea or a sandwich, you can also purchase unique items created in our ecological sewing workshop 'Goodness Squared'. In making bags, covers, trays and other items, we were helped by our valuable volunteers, to whom we sincerely thank," stated Pomozi.ba.

They add that in this way, besides giving new life to old textiles, they want to reduce the amount of textile waste, but primarily help users who get involved in sewing to supplement their household budget with their work.

"All funds collected at the 'Bazaar of Good Will' will be directed towards children and youth, that is, associations that care for the happiness, well-being and proper growth and development of children in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the 'Diplomatic Winter Bazaar' campaign," the statement reads.

They remind that the “Diplomatic Winter Bazaar” is a humanitarian event organized every year by the international community in Sarajevo to support children and youth across BiH. Last year it was held online due to the pandemic, as was this year, but 83,000 convertible marks were raised to finance 18 humanitarian organizations.

In addition to visiting the “Bazaar of Good Will”, all citizens can participate in the campaign by calling the humanitarian phone number 17022. The number is unique for all telephone operators in BiH, and the cost of the call is 2 KM.
