Today is the 10th Bentbaša Cliff Diving, a jump into the Miljacka from 19 meters

(Patria) - The traditional 10th jumps into the Miljacka, "Bentbaša Cliff Diving" will be held today starting at 4 PM.

"On the tenth anniversary, we decided to expand the concept itself and make a small summer festival at one of the iconic locations that is significant for the city of Sarajevo. It is a historical location and many of us grew up swimming at Bentbaša, jumping, so "Bentbaša Summer Fest" is the overall name of the complete project that will last until August 4, with an exceptionally good program," said organizer Dino Bajrić.

The jumpers, 25 of them coming from BiH, the region, and abroad, will jump from a height of 19 meters. They will jump in two categories, traditional swallow dives and figurative "high diving" jumps.

Bajrić also emphasized that this is a program aimed at promoting and preserving
the Bentbaša locality, and in accordance with that, the site was cleaned in the preceding days.

This year's event was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS, the City of Sarajevo, the Municipality
of Stari Grad Sarajevo, the Olympic Committee of BiH as a special partner, the Federal Ministry

of Culture and Sports, the Federal Ministry of Tourism and Environment, JU Protected Areas of Canton
Sarajevo, and other sponsors and companies.
