Day of mourning in Tuzla over the murder of Amra Kahrimanović

(Patria) - The Mayor of Tuzla, Zijad Lugavić, has made a Decision to declare a Day of Mourning in the city of Tuzla, on the occasion of the tragic event and the murder of fellow citizen Amra Kahrimanović.

February 11, 2024 (Sunday) is declared a Day of Mourning in the city of Tuzla.

The Day of Mourning will be marked by lowering flags to half-mast at the City Administration building, as well as at the buildings of public enterprises and public institutions throughout the city. In accordance with the spirit of mourning, no public, cultural, or entertainment programs will be held in public places. Also, music will not be played in catering and other public facilities.

All media outlets from the city of Tuzla are obliged to adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning and refrain from broadcasting content that could disrupt solidarity and compassion with the family and friends of the deceased Amra Kahrimanović.

Amra Kahrimanović would have turned 53 on Sunday, February 11th. Also, the family of the murdered Amra will inform the citizens of Tuzla about holding a peaceful walk in honor of the deceased Amra, which will also be a protest walk as a warning to the authorities about anomalies in the system due to which innocent lives are lost.
