Today is a Day of Mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the mining accident at the “Kakanj” brown coal mine, in which four miners were killed, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The Day of Mourning is observed by the mandatory flying of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast on the buildings of the Government of the Federation of BiH and institutions of the FBiH.
On the Day of Mourning, cultural and entertainment programs cannot be held in public places in the Federation of BiH.
Media outlets in the territory of the FBiH are obliged to align and adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.
