Day of Mourning in FBiH and RS due to murders in Gradačac

(Patria) - In both BiH entities, the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska, today is a Day of Mourning due to the horrific triple murder in Gradačac that occurred on August 11. Although it was announced that the BiH Council of Ministers would declare a Day of Mourning, this did not happen. Neither Nenad Nešić nor Staša Košarac supported the decision.

First, the Government of RS declared a Day of Mourning, and then invited the Government of FBiH to do the same.

Flags at institutions will be flown at half-mast today, and television and radio content, as well as all sports and entertainment content planned for today, need to be adapted to the Day of Mourning.

In Brčko District, the Day of Mourning was on Monday, the day of the funeral of the murdered Nizama Hećimović. The funeral of the two murdered father and son took place on Tuesday.
