
(Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced that in accordance with the Law on the Proclamation of March 1st as Bosnia and Herzegovina Independence Day, Independence Day is celebrated on March 1st, and that on the holiday, it is a non-working day for state bodies, companies, and other legal entities.
State holidays, in accordance with this Law, are not carried over and are celebrated on the day they fall.
This year, Independence Day falls on a Sunday, and accordingly, we call upon all legal entities that operate on Sundays, due to the nature of their work and working hours schedule, to respect the right of workers who work on this day to increased wages, in accordance with Article 76 of the Labour Law.
