CITY DAY From April 6 to 10, you can leave a message in the Time Capsule at the Museum of Literature and Theatre Arts of BiH

(Patria) - As part of the celebration of Sarajevo City Day, from April 6 to 10, 2026, a unique cultural project "Sarajevo Time Capsule" will be realized at the Museum of Literature and Theatre Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the association "Sevdah Salon Balkan", with the support of the City of Sarajevo.

The central part of the project is a time capsule – a symbolic space where citizens, especially schoolchildren and students, will have the opportunity to leave personal records as a testimony of a certain time. The capsule will be open to the public during the exhibition, from April 6 to 10, after which it will be closed and stored. Its contents will be opened and read in ten years, as a document of a generation and its view of Sarajevo.

In parallel, a thematic exhibition will be set up in the Museum space, establishing a dialogue between contemporary and historical Sarajevo...

The official opening of the exhibition and the presentation of the time capsule, with a musical performance by Edo and Dino Krilić and special guest, doyen of BiH acting, Jasna Diklić, will be held on April 6 at 1:00 PM.

The association "Sevdah Salon Balkan", in cooperation with the Museum of Literature and Theatre Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, invites citizens to visit the exhibition and leave their message in the Sarajevo Time Capsule and become part of a story that is yet to be read.
