Army of RBiH Day: Central event on April 14th at Kovači

Federal Minister for Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Defensive-Liberation War Salko Bukvarević met with the commander of the Second Infantry (Ranger) Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH, Brigadier Senad Pajić, and his associates, it was announced from the relevant ministry, reports the Patria News Agency.

Discussions were held regarding cooperation on the occasion of marking the Army of RBiH Day, i.e., the Second Infantry Regiment of the AFBiH, the successor to the continuity of the Army of RBiH.

The central event marking the Army of RBiH Day will be held this year on April 14th at the Kovači Martyrs' Cemetery in Sarajevo. The commemoration will continue the following day at Rajlovac Barracks, where a member of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, will address the attendees.

Minister Bukvarević and the Ministry he heads give full support to the organization of the Army of RBiH Day, and will make all their material and human resources available to the Second Regiment in organizing the commemoration of this very important date.

Representatives of the Second Infantry Regiment expressed a desire to form a Military Museum within the "Orao" Base, for which they received full support from Minister Bukvarević. The museum would contain exhibits from the war, and possibly a Military Archive (documents, audio and video materials), so that future generations can have access to all archival material, the statement reads.
