The best Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur opened the $125,000 tournament in Santo Domingo with a victory, reports the Patria agency.
Džumhur celebrated a win in the first round against Brazilian Guilherme Clezar with 2-0 in sets (7:6, 6:3).
In the second round, Damir will play against the 385th player in the world, Spaniard Carlos Boluda Purkiss.
It is worth noting that Džumhur won the tournament in Santo Domingo two years ago.
