The best Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur has advanced to the second round of the ATP tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico, worth $727,995, reports the Patria agency.
Džumhur, currently ranked 87th on the ATP list, after just over two hours of play in the first round, defeated Japan's Taro Daniel, ranked 95th, with a score of 6:7(4:7), 6:3, 6:3.
In the second round, the Sarajevo native will face the winner of the match between the fifth seed, Croatia's Ivo Karlović (31st ATP), and French qualifier Quentin Halys (126th ATP).
