Damir Džumhur is the 40th player in the world as of today

The best BiH tennis player Damir Džumhur is officially among the top 50 world tennis players as of today, writes the Patria agency.

On the latest ATP rankings, our player is in 40th place with 1,121 points won.

Compared to last Monday, Džumhur has advanced by as many as 15 positions.

Džumhur reached his career-high ranking by winning the tournament in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which is his first ATP tournament title in his career.

Regarding the results achieved only in 2017, Džumhur is in 37th place in the world.

Aldin Šetkić is in 174th place, Mirza Bašić has dropped 19 places and fallen to 188th position, while Tomislav Brkić is the 269th player in the world.

There were no changes at the top of the list, Spaniard Rafael Nadal is still leading ahead of Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Alexander Zverev, Marin Čilić, Novak Đoković, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov, Stan Wawrinka and Pablo Carreño Busta.
