The best Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur has secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Santo Domingo, reports the Patria agency.
In the second round of the $125,000 tournament, our tennis player defeated Spanish tennis player Carlos Boluda Purkiss 2-0 in sets (6:2, 6:2).
In the quarterfinals, Džumhur will play against the world's 333rd-ranked player, American Evan King.
Damir Džumhur is the top seed of the tournament, and it should be noted that he won this tournament two years ago.
