Damir Džumhur plays match against Oliva at Wimbledon today

On the grass courts of the All England Club in London, the third Grand Slam tournament of the season – Wimbledon, begins today, reports the Patria agency. 

Bosnia and Herzegovina will have one representative in the main draw, Damir Džumhur, who takes to the court today.

The aforementioned match is scheduled for court eight as the third match of the day and will not start before 4 PM.

On today's new ATP rankings, Džumhur has maintained his 83rd position, while his opponent is ranked only four places lower.

Should he overcome the first hurdle, Džumhur will play the winner of the match between Ivo Karlović (Croatia) – Aljaž Bedene (GB) in the second round.

The tournament's top seed, local defending champion Andy Murray, also plays today, and his opponent will be Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik.

Also competing today will be the fourth seed, Spain's Rafael Nadal, the fifth seed, Switzerland's Stan Wawrinka, the seventh seed, Croatia's Marin Čilić, the ninth seed, Japan's Kei Nishikori, and the 12th seed, France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
