Damir Arnaut joins Our Party

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Damir Arnaut, a Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, has joined Our Party. Anyone who followed his work, says Arnaut, could conclude that this is a logical sequence of events.

"Since November 2018, I have publicly stated that it is a patriotic duty not to enter into a coalition with SDA, HDZ, and SNSD. I warned that it would not be possible to achieve fundamental changes or restore citizens' trust in the institutions of the system. With the overthrow of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, about which I have also been speaking for 14 months as the first government of citizens for citizens, this is a consistent sequence, and Our Party is a logical choice. It is the first party that has resolutely refused to cooperate with national parties, remaining consistent to the point that it has become an indispensable part of its image. It suits me to be a part of that. It is about the ideological and programmatic compatibility of what we advocate."

Predrag Kojović, president of Our Party, says that Damir Arnaut is certainly one of the highest-quality legislators and is proud that he accepted the invitation to join the Our Party team.

"This is the first time in the political scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina that someone in power voluntarily decides to be in opposition due to consistency with themselves and their work. I am honored to be in a party that such people choose. Such an act further justifies our actions and encourages us to continue on the same path. The public is aware of how skilled Mr. Arnaut is in his primary profession, law, as well as in politics, which represents a significant personnel strengthening for Our Party with whom it will be easier to achieve everything we advocate for."
